Objective:
This course is intended to provide basic concepts of carbon management, which include reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission sources and types, quantification and GHG emission at organizational level, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint, pathways to Net-Zero and Carbon Neutrality, and decarbonisation rating.

Course 2: Organisation Level GHG Emission Calculation and Workshop
Level: Basic
Duration: 2 Days
Objective:
This course is intended to provide an in-depth introduction to the organizational level carbon emission quantification and reporting standards, namely the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064, through analysis of concepts and examples, as well as hands-on exercises and use of carbon calculation software.
Course Outline:
1. International standards on quantification and reporting of GHG emissions for organisations
2. Fundamentals of GHG emission calculations: define organisational boundaries and identify emission sources
3. Examples of organisational GHG emissions from various industries
4. Group exercises on manually categorize and calculate organisational GHG emissions
5. Use software tools to categorize and calculate organisational GHG emissions
Course 3: Net Zero Emission and Carbon Neutrality Pathways
Level: Basic
Duration: 2 Days
Objective:
This course is intended to provide detailed description of Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality, as well as the pathways, including international standards and initiatives, to achieve theses decarbonisation goals. Best practices and use cases will be shared to help participants understand the key components involved in decarbonisation strategy, planning, and management.

1. International Standards on Carbon Neutrality Pathways (PAS 2060:2014 or ISO 14068)
2. Introduction to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi)
3. Measures to achieve carbon reduction and carbon removal
4. Case studies of carbon neutrality declaration with PAS 2060 or ISO 14068-1
Course 4: ESG and Carbon Disclosure
Level: Basic
Duration: 1 Day
Objective:
This course is intended to provide participants the basic concepts of ESG, including ESG definition, ESG reporting standards, ESG requirements in different markets, ESG rating and the ways to improve ESG rating. It will also introduce other carbon disclosure requirements including EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the ISSB sustainability and climate disclosure standards (IFRS S1 and S2).

Course 5: Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Objective:
This course is intended to introduce the Sustainable Procurement ISO standard (ISO 20400) and the implementation of a sustainable procurement management system in an organisation.

Course 6: Product Carbon Footprint and LCA Analysis (ISO 14067:2018)
Level: Intermediate
Duration: 2 Day
Objective:
This course will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles, requirements, terms, and guidelines of ISO 14067 (requirements and guidelines for quantification of carbon footprint of products [CFP]), as well as practical knowledge on utilizing the life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) process to quantify CFP based on ISO 14067 using software tools.

1. Introduction to carbon footprint of products and life cycle assessment (LCA)
2. LCA and life cycle impact analysis (LCIA) including scope definition, inventory analysis, impact assessment, interpretation
3. Product Category Rules (PCR) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), and examples of LCA and LCIA
4. Overview of ISO 14067 (Requirements for quantification, methodology for quantification, CFP study report and critical review)
5. Hands-on learning of quantifying a CFP using software tools
Course 7: Climate Risk Assessment & Management
Level: Advanced
Duration: 2 Days
Objective:
This is an advanced course intended to help participants to understand climate change, associated physical and transition risks, and financial impact. This course will share climate risk assessment, financial impact analysis, and management case studies and best practices in different markets.
